Our Mission
A 501(c)3 non-profit organization that creates a welcoming and inclusive environment where "non-car" people can feel heard and to assist our financially struggling neighbors to ensure they have a safe vehicle with which to earn a living.
Our Story
We are a full service automotive repair facility providing friendly and customer focused service. One of the reasons for starting this company was my frustration over how my wife and daughter were treated when bringing in their cars for service. We want to provide service the way it used to be--at a garage run by professionals who will let you know what you need and why. We can help you find a balance between necessary repair items, preventative maintenance, and your personal budget. Our technicians won’t talk down to you or try to sell repairs or services that are not necessary. Instead, we will explain exactly what the issues are, and help you with any repairs or maintenance that you need. We will work with you to find an affordable solution so your car remains safe and provides you with transportation for the full life of the vehicle.
Giving Back to the Community
Everybody needs a hand from time to time. As a non-profit company, a large portion of our proceeds goes into supporting our community through our Working Class Hero program. Aimed at people who are currently working or disabled and struggling to make ends meet, this program is set up to deal with the surprise repairs that arise during the annual vehicle safety inspection. Program participants pay only the cost of the inspection. Good Karma Garage covers the cost of parts and labor to make the necessary repairs to bring the vehicle into compliance with PA state standards. We partner with social organizations such as churches, social services providers, veteran groups, and the like to identify deserving people who could benefit from our program. Our all volunteer staff makes this work possible.
Get Started
The good news is that we can work together to support our community. Here’s how you can be a part of the team.
1. Call us at (717) 635-9050 to make an appointment for your next service. Repair work or routine maintenance, we can handle it. If you must pay someone to do the work on your car, you can have the benefit of knowing your money is going towards a good cause. Proceeds from this work allow us to continue our charitable mission.
2. Donate to our cause to support the families that are struggling to make ends meet. As a 501(c)3 company, your donation is tax deductible and all the money goes into assisting those in need. (To Donate Click Here)
