We have a number of ways you can join the team.

Volunteer – we count on volunteer labor to carry out our mission. If you have experience working on cars and have the time, we’d love to have you down at the garage. While we like to have people that have worked on cars before, you don’t have to be an expert. We have folks that will work alongside of you to make sure you are supported during the work. Let us know that you are interested and your availability and we’ll get in touch with you.

Fundraisers – if you are part of a group that raises funds for charity, please consider Good Karma Garage. We are solely funded by donations and grants. As word has spread about us, we have no shortage of customers needing our services. 28% of Harrisburg residents live at or below the poverty line. Please contact us if your organization would like to assist in our mission. We can provide information or posters or just about anything you may need to support the fundraising.

Host an event – if you have a group that you would like to provide an educational program about vehicles, we can help you. Contact us with your thoughts and we can work out a program that meets your needs. This can be at your venue or we can organize a hands on event at the garage.

Donations – all donations receive through our website go directly to the purchase of auto parts for recipients’ vehicles. None of the donation is used for administrative or facilities expenses. It’s as if you were buying the parts for the person directly. Your donation is also tax deductible. Check here to donate.

Donor Advised Fund – we are listed in most donor advised fund portals such as Vanguard Charitable, Fidelity Charitable and Daffy. Donations through donor advised funds can be a great tax advantaged way to donate to Good Karma Garage.

Corporate Donation Matching we are listed in most corporate donation matching portals, like Benevity. You can search by our name, Good Karma Garage (be sure to choose the one located in Harrisburg, PA 17111)  or by our 501(C)3 Tax ID: 87-1092463. If your corporate matching program requires any additional information or paperwork completed to allow you to donate and receive the match, please let us know.
